Francoise biography in English ?

Hi Everyone

I was excited when I found out that Francoise had written her autobiography.
I went straight to Amazon to order it, until it suddenly occured to me that it would be in french and I wouldn't understand more than a few words here or their.

Although I've been a listening (and looking!) fan of Francoise for many years, I don't really know anything more of her life than would fill two sentences.
Can anyone point me to a good, truthful biography in english ?
Although in a way it doesn't matter because the songs convey so much.

I don't think there is anything in English, Norman, apart from various translated articles on line which can be found when Googling "Francoise Hardy".

There's one exception: her autobiography's got a Dutch translation but that's not a great help for you, I'm afraid.
The music magazine Record Collector published a few years ago a splendid and extensive article about Françoise. I don't know exactly when. But if you're interested, let me know.

I'm kind of nervous about reading parts of the biography as I have gleaned some sadnesses in Francoise's life which I had not known about.
Little things are making Francoise more of a person to me and less of an icon, which is positive to know there is substance not just veneer.

I have scanned some articles published in "Fabulous" an English pop magazine in 1965 and tried to load them onto the forum, I thought that it would be easy and probably it is but I couldn't do it.
I definitely need an ("idiots guide) any help please?
