Question Regarding "Chanson d'O" Empty
MessageSujet: Question Regarding "Chanson d'O"   Question Regarding "Chanson d'O" EmptyLun 5 Avr 2010 - 23:58

I am familiar with the book Histoire d'O, so I am aware of the subject matter. Naturally, "Chanson d'O" is an extremely sexual song...I know that I can hear "oui" and "là" - but is she just vocalizing, or are there other words or lyrics? I see the song representing acquiescence, or submission - emotionally. I've read translations of some of the posts here where members are discussing how they interpret the song.

La Question is definitely my favorite of her albums, very sensual, ethereal, and beautiful.

Sorry to bother, but I'm a new fan...and I must know! Wink I love you Thank you.

I had to read this discussion again...

In summary, there is NO recorded version of "Chanson d'O" with lyrics.

According to some forum's members, we can find some lyrics:
(1) on a German site dedicated to Francoise
http://www.fhardy.de/html/songtexte.html (--> select "chanson d'O")

(2) on a musical partition from the seventies (seems so..)

But according to a last member, Francoise confirmed she had never recorded it with lyrics. Final point.

Hope it will help you!

I think those lyrics are beautiful. It would be nice if there was a recorded version with them. But I love the song just as it is!
